The Causeway Artists website is presented as a showcase of the visual and performing artists on the lower causeway of the beautiful inner harbour of the City of Victoria, provincial capital of British Columbia, Canada.
Bounded by the magnificent Provincial Legislature to the south, the world famous Empress Hotel to the east, and downtown Victoria to the north (see map), the causeway attracts both locals and visitors from around the world who come to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings and the vibrant ambience of the active inner harbour.
A large part of that ambience is provided by the diverse group of talented artists, buskers and jugglers who can be found nearly year-round displaying their creative and entertainment talents on-site. For more than two decades they have been recognized as major contributors to culture and the tourism industry of the city and the province.
