Recycled oak lies at the heart of artist Dwight Hill's craftsmanship. Old pallets, dismantled, planed, sanded & then cut on a table with a 20" scrollsaw, become wallhangings & trivets. Visit his wide selection of dragons, moose, elk, eagles, crosses and old Victorian art at his spot on the causeway.

Nlaka'pamux (Thompson) First Nations' artist Mike Hill's jewelry-making skills employ many varied tools and techniques. His creations incorporate leather work in the traditional South American style, silver smithing, a modern approach to wire work, and semi-precious stones and rare fossils.
ESET LEKU
An Albanian from the Republic of Kosova, Eset Leku graduated art college in Prishtina in 1973/74. He came to Canada in 1999, and took college courses in drawing figures and watercolouring in Victoria, and began drawing portraits in Bastion Square. Since 2004, Eset has continued to draw on the causeway.

The wonderful parade of humanity along the causeway provides the inspiration for caricaturist Dean Lewis' humorous portraits that by his definition depend upon "a wider margin of error." Ask about his "grumpy old men discount."

They currently can be found on Victoria's inner harbour causeway, creating their celestial lunar landscapes, using only scrap paper and high gloss enamel spray paint.
